Therefore, the hydraulic pump is an energy device, and the hydraulic motor is the actuator.

The steering of the output shaft of the hydraulic motor must be able to rotate forward and reverse, so its structure is symmetrical; Some hydraulic pumps (such as gear pumps, vane pumps, etc.) have clear regulations for steering, which can only rotate in one direction and cannot change the direction of selection at will.

3. In addition to the oil inlet and outlet, the hydraulic motor also has a separate oil leakage port; Hydraulic pumps generally only have oil inlet and outlet ports (except axial piston pumps), and the oil leakage in them communicates with the oil inlet.

From the working principle, the hydraulic motor and the hydraulic pump rely on the change of the volume of the sealing working chamber to work, but due to the different purposes of use of the two, there are many differences in the structure, and generally cannot be directly reversed and universal.
