Uses Of Hydraulic Motors

Hydraulic pumps, motors, and cylinders can be combined into a hydraulic drive system. One or more hydraulic pumps are connected to one or more hydraulic motors to form a hydraulic transmission.

 Hydraulic motors are now used in many applications such as winch and crane drives, wheel motors for military vehicles, self-propelled cranes, excavators, conveyor and feeder drives, cooling fan drives, mixer and agitator drives, roller mills, drum drives for digesters, trommel screens and kilns, shredders, drills, trenchers, high-power lawn trimmers and injection molding machines. Hydraulic motors are also used in heat transfer applications.
